colorado trip

keith and i were able to take one last trip to colorado before the baby is born a few weeks ago. we are so fortunate to have such generous family and friends and we got so many great things for jackson. it was great to be able to capture a picture of erica and i with our baby bumps. i can't believe their little girl will be here in just 5 weeks and our little boy will be here in 13! we have some work to do...

we made a trip up to the mountains to see jen, jake, and jameson but had to cut the trip a little short due to a stomach bug going around. luckily, keith and i never got it, but we didn't want to take any chances. instead we were able to spend a day in breckenridge thanks to jason and erica. breck is truly one of our favorite places to go, and we always have a great time while we're there. it was also nice to be able to spend the day together as i'm sure those days are going to be few and far between pretty soon. 

since we have been back, keith took on a kitchen renovation project. it's going to look great once it's finished. i will post kitchen and nursery pictures as soon as they get closer to being complete!

baby's room

even though i said i would never post this, i have to say that keith has been amazing at getting everything ready for the baby. he's been working very hard in clearing out the room, which turned in to a room where we threw anything in that we didn't know where to put when we moved in, and has painted it over the last 2 weekends. it's so exciting to see the room start to come together; i can't wait to start putting furniture in!!

1 year and belly update

it's quite amazing how much can happen in one year. one year ago today, keith and i were married. since then, i've graduated from grad school, started a new grad program, we bought a house, and we are now expecting our first child. we are very blessed and are thankful for everything we have. looking forward to many more years of celebration!

it's a boy!!!

we went for our 20 week ultrasound this week and found out that we are having a boy! everything looked great and we got to see the heart, lungs, kidneys, brain, all fingers and toes. it is really amazing how many things they are able to see and the amount of detail each picture shows. you can even see the chambers of his heart in this pic! now to pick a name...

keith and the dogs playing in the new snow...we ended up getting 4 inches the weekend dad came to visit. i think he brought it with him! we had a really nice time relaxing with dad and celebrating keith's birthday.

my 19 week bump. we go on friday and will hopefully find out what's in there!
