we're engaged!!

last monday, keith and i got engaged at the base of vail mountain. it was an amazing week and something i did not see coming!! after i was told about all of the running around and little things that were happening, i don't know how i didn't figure it out! it was a fantastic surprise, though. there are no plans as of yet, but i will keep everyone posted. it was also very special for me because i got to spend some time with my family and friends before and after we were skiing. it was great to get to share our news with all of them. can't wait for the coming months!!!

why does each year seem to go by more quickly than the last? this year has been no exception. i am lucky to have some great friends to celebrate my birthday with this year, but nothing will compare spending it with my family. i'm very happy to have some special traditions to make me feel just a little bit closer. one of my favorites is getting flowers from my dad :)
the night of my birthday i went out with a few friends for some food and drinks. we had a great time with everyone and i'm so happy so many people made it out.
