london calling!

keith and i had a fantastic time in london. our trip was without any complications and couldn't have been better. we arrived early sunday morning and got checked into our beautiful hotel. we were right in trafalgar square and had a great hotel. we didn't do very much the first day, but did manage to make it to the national gallery and to get some food, but that's about it.

monday was slightly more productive. we walked around a lot and relaxed for most of the day. that evening we met keith's friends for dinner and then took a late night walk to buckingham palace.
tuesday we got up and went to the tower of london during the day and then went to see les miserables that evening. i had never seen the play before, so it was a treat for me to see it there.

wednesday we walked, and walked, and walked. first, we went to the london eye and took the ride up high above london. then we went past big ben and the westminster abbey. afterwards, we walked around and looked in a few shops.

thursday, we had a relaxing morning and then traveled a little way to meet keith's friend, laurence. we stayed with him and his family for the remainder of our trip. it was nice to stay around the house and not have anywhere we had to be. the entire vacation was extremely relaxing and much needed, especially since i'm heading in to finals next week!! coming back to reality was a huge shock! i can't wait to go home for christmas and see everyone again!! see you soon!
