well, here we sit at jfk airport, waiting for our second "scheduled" flight to get to colorado, and, we're delayed again. we were supposed to get out of new york first thing friday morning and yet, we're still sitting here late saturday night, and not going anywhere. i missed seeing jen and skiing at the beave for the weekend, but i still get to see everyone else. and now it gives me an excuse to take a trip to virginia! hope we get out of here soon!! there are drunk college kids trying to start fights because they're missing their spring break and everyone seems to be a little on edge. see you all soon (hopefully!!).

cocktails with paul mc cartney

yes, it's true. last week after class i met up with keith, dave, and meghan after class for a quick drink at a bar close to my apartment. granted, it wasn't just a typical bar, it was high end and there was a piano player and it was in a hotel, but it was a lot of fun and had a great ambiance. after sitting down for about 20 min i look up to see meghan and dave giving each other a very strange look, and i, not knowing what's going on, start to look around and not more than 10 feet from us stood mr. mc cartney chatting with the piano player. this is one of the reasons i love new york. everyone left him alone and i didn't see anyone go up to him or bother him at any point. i wanted to take a picture, but that's just not the sort of thing people do. it's nice to know that celebrities can have a somewhat normal life and people acknowledge that they need to be left alone. especially someone as famous as him!! see you all in 2 days!!!!!!!!!! give or take :)
