last weekend i went to the 'winter festival' in central park. this is the second year they've had the event, but somehow i picture last years as being a little better. they had a ramp set up where anyone could bring their board or skis and at the bottom was a small rail. it was pretty cool to see some of the people go down and do their little tricks, and was, by far, the most exciting part of the event. another area was blocked off where they made snow and the kids seemed to be having a blast. even though it was a small area, they made the snow pretty deep so mini snowmen were made

and a bunch of them got together to try and make an igloo. please note the lack of snow in the rest of the park! at the other end of this place, there were sleigh rides and ski and snowshoe rentals. that had to be the most ridiculous part. the poor horses went around a circle that could probably fit in my apartment, and then there were the people trying to ski, with no sort of incline or decline whatsoever, and s

nowshoe in the middle of them. if nothing else, it was a good reason to get outside and away from my books for a little while. maybe next year will be better!

Hi Punkin,
Well... like you said they tired. I think I have more snow on my patio than there was in Central Park. (:
It does look like everyone was having fun. See you in about 3 weeks for a hug.
Love,
Dad
