been a while...

i know its been a while since i've posted. nothing too exciting going on here. i finished my teaching exam last saturday (thankfully). the first part was extremely easy and i felt kind of silly for being so stressed out about it. of course if i hadn't been and didn't really study, i'm sure it would have turned out differently! the second part, however, was a different story. after going through the study book and doing all their practice questions, i felt very confident going into the math exam. the material covered in the study book and the material on the actual exam were 2 completely different things!! the book only showed math as far as advanced algebra, maybe a little tiny bit of calc 1. the exam...diff eq, calc 1-3, probability, and pretty much anything i did in college and didn't study for one bit because i didn't think it would be on there. we'll see how it turns out, but i'm not counting on anything!
otherwise, the sun is finally out after about a week straight of rain. i didn't realize how often the sun was really out in colorado. i know they always say there are 360 days of sunshine, but i never really thought about it. having it rain so many days in a row makes me want to be very lazy! glad it's out now. planning to come home and visit toward the end of july. i'll let you all know when that will be for sure! miss you!
