weekend with jen & thanksgiving

the last couple of weeks have been a little crazy, but good. last weekend, jen and her 2 roommates came up from baltimore for the weekend. we had such a good time! i wish jen and i lived closer, i miss hanging out. saturday we all went out to dinner, came back to my place, then headed downtown for the night. sunday we slept in, and then jen and i met up with keith, mike, and luke for brunch before jen and luke had to head back to baltimore. :( hopefully, i can get down there in the next couple of months.

thanksgiving was a little bitter sweet. it was very strange not to be home with everyone and be the one on the phone calling in the middle of dinner, but i went up to westchester with keith and had a great dinner with him and his family. i used erica's recipe for apple pie, and it was a great success. we got to go to the macy's parade in the morning and sit in the grandstand; it was really cool to get to go and see the parade in person after seeing it on tv for so many years. i could have done without the rain, but i still had a great time. i'll put pictures up as soon as i can, i forgot my digital camera, so i need to get the disposable one developed.
