new job

well, i thought i'd tell everyone a little bit about my new job! i am going to be a nanny for a 5-year-old girl helping out her mom. i'll be living just outside the city in a town called scarsdale. i'll be leaving colorado on the 29th and starting my position on the first. i thought i should allow myself a couple days to play in the city before i had to start work! the move is 2 weeks away and i think it's finally starting to hit me! today i sold my car, cancelled my phone and internet, and put my notice in writing at my job. i know i'm going to miss colorado a ton, mainly because of my wonderful family and fantastic friends, but i'm looking forward to living out my dream of living in new york! come visit!!!

first blog ever

so, this is my first 'blog' entry ever...please forgive me!! for those of you that don't know ( i think i've told every person i've seen, even strangers!) i am moving to new york at the end of the month, and my extremely computer saavy brother thought this would be a great way to keep in touch with everyone. i thought it was a fantastic idea...so, here i am! i will be keeping my same cell phone number and i can always be reached by email. i'm sure there will be many adventures to come, hope you all enjoy!!
