100% spoiled

there are many times i have to stand back and realize just how fortunate i am to be surrounded by so many people that love me and go out of their way. this weekend was one of those times. keith's mom, deb, and her sister maggie gave me an amazing shower. i was completely overwhelmed by the outpouring of love, attention, and generosity. everyone did so much more than i ever expected and i can't begin to thank them enough. it was so great of everyone to come together and spend an afternoon with me and celebrate our wedding.

bahamas!!

last week, dan, keith, kevin, jeanine, and i headed down to the bahamas for a much needed vacation! this was my first time there, but keith and kevin have been going there for about 16 years. we had such an amazing time laying by the pool

when i get bored, i paint

over the weekend, i had a few hours of down time so i decided the bedroom needed to be painted. i'm sure keith was thrilled when he walked in on friday night and saw the bedroom was in disarray :) he was even more excited when he helped me finish the job this afternoon.

last weekend, we were invited to stay with keith's old boss at his house in the hamptons. it was so nice to get away for the weekend and hang out on the beach, not to mention the house and pool.
we went to the clam bake right on the beach and had a really good time. keith knew quite a few people there, so it was nice to meet more of the people he used to work with.


we're looking forward to going to colorado and seeing everyone!!

new apartment!!

i know i've been bad about writing, but there are a lot of things going on!! i will make this short and sweet. a little over a month ago, mom, jason, erica, and ashlyn came out for a visit and we had such a good time. everyone got to meet keith's family and we saw a lot of new york. i hope everyone had as much fun as i did, i really loved having everyone here.
work has been crazy (resulting in 12-14 hour days), but at least i don't have to take any classes this summer. so, if you want to know what i'm up to or where i am, i'm at work...at that includes saturdays and sundays. hope everyone is doing well.

jen's wedding

last weekend, jen and jake were married in virginia! keith, lucy, and i drove down for the weekend and had such a great time. lucy behaved amazingly well both in the car and in the hotel. she slept the entire car ride and didn't make too much of a fuss when we had to leave her in the hotel.

it was so good to see jen and hang out at their house on saturday before the rehearsal dinner. that night, we spent time with jen and jake's families and some friends i haven't seen in a while. sunday morning, jen, sarah, and i got together for brunch and a relaxing morning. later that afternoon, i met jen while she was getting her makeup done, and then we headed to the ceremony.

jen was beautiful and i was so honored to be a part of her wedding. i can't wait to meet their baby boy in the fall!!!

lucy!!!

meet our newest family member! this is lucy, a 7 month old boston terrier. keith and i got her last sunday and fell in love with her right away. so far she has been very good in the house and hasn't chewed up too many things, knock on wood. she is definitely still a puppy, but she's very smart and catches on quick. keith has already taught her 'sit' and 'down'. i, on the other hand, taught her how to jump on the couch :)

she may look fierce, but it's all an act. she loves to cuddle with you on the couch and to be held. i'm sure we will have many more pictures to come!!!
