Top 5: Web Apps

by Jason

I spend a ton of the time on the web. In fact, I'm not even sure how to do my job anymore with out it. The other day at work, the tubes were down for a period of time. People were walking around aimlessly, some bumping into walls, some just cowering in fear... Many eventually gave up and just went home.

So what makes this web so useful? I've compiled a small list of things below that I find indispensable. Maybe you have a list of your own that you'd like to share? Or perhaps there's something here you haven't seen before, and it will become as valuable to you as it has to me.

Top 5 Web Applications:
  1. Google Reader
  2. del.icio.us
  3. Google Maps
  4. Flickr
  5. TripIt
Requirements for the list:
  • Must run in standard browser only.
  • No additional downloads required.
  • Must have a mobile site.

I've tried... I've really tried. I just can't seem to find a good use for Twitter. It's kind of cute, but not a very useful app. And lately, it's been down a lot and many features are offline.
