GO BIG RED! er....GO BUFFS!

by Erica

My first Husker football game. Memorial stadium really is a sea of red. There was a very little pocket of black and gold. It was not a well-liked area.

I grew up in Nebraska. I was once told that if I was not a Husker fan, then I was not a true Linafelter. Hum....so, who did I cheer for? I was neutral.

The truest of all Husker fans. We once had to take grandpa to the hospital after his blood pressure shot up due to NE losing a game. Now, grandpa escorts senior citizens from the parking lot to the stadium. Isn't he cute!

Thanksgiving

by Erica

Jason and I headed to dear old Nebraska for Thanksgiving. We were able to see both sides of my family.

We truly had something to be thankful for as my cousin flipped his car and rolled it a couple of times Thanksgiving morning. He walked away with a few scratches and a totalled car.

The weather was just awesome. We played some games outside and took family pictures.

Scary- I am the oldest and second shortest grandchild in this picture.

Happy Belated Birthday

by Erica

Blogging is no longer my top computer priority anymore. Thus the reason that my husband is getting a belated birthday post.
We celebrated his birthday at one of the greatest restaurants known to man. Okay, a bit exaggerated, but going to the Melting Pot is such a treat. Jason's dad joined us for our 3 hour dinner. We left stuffed, but satisfied.

Happy birthday, love! I hope you had a great weekend.

Big Project

by Erica

I am not sure that I ever mentioned what happen with our house situation. But, I am also pretty sure that the people who read our blog know us well enough and are informed. Long story, short--
Put current house on market, bought a house, new house was being built, current house didn't sell, gave up new house, took current house off market and now we are starting to finish our basement. Here was the mess that I created while trying to organize and move all the boxes into the garage.
(Okay, the mess was much bigger than the picture shows)

"My Brain is Hard"

by Erica

That was the response I recieved when I asked a child why he was messing around in class.

I think my brain is hard right now, too.
