Layers and Layers of Rich Chocolate Cake and Fudge Frosting

Yes, that is what I have been enjoying for the past 3 days. I told (or begged) Jason to give me a big slice of chocolate cake for my birthday. That is all. Just chocolate cake. Jason is a good man. He satisfied my craving and took me to the Cheesecake Factory for my cake and birthday dinner. Yes, I have turned another year older. I am well into my mid-twenties.
A sign that I am getting older... I asked for a sewing machine for my birthday. I now own a sewing machine and I am excited about it. I went to JoAnne Fabrics and became completely overwhelmed with the amount of fabrics. I realized that I don't know how to buy to right kind of fabric for what I want to do. So, instead I bought a book. Wish me luck or please come over to teach me how to sew.

Hey Erica- i am so glad you got your chocolate cake! I hope you had a great b-day too. I have really been craving chocolate cake or anything chocolate since i got here. You really don't see much chocolate cake or any cake here, but I finally got a chocolate bar which tasted better than ever :)
