Having the house for sale means that the house needs to be clean before we leave each morning. It is a hard thing to do during shedding season. I had to tell Cody and Ollie that they couldn't sleep in the house until Cody was done shedding. They looked sad to hear the news. I don't like them being outside all night by themselves. I am sure I will cave soon. Caving does mean more cleaning for me.
Jason and I are part of a small group bible study on Tuesday evenings. I feel so filled by the time that I come home that I am so thankful that we have made it a priority every week. We are studying 1 Corinthians right now. If you want to have a good discussion, read chapter 5. It is very interesting. If you want to get our perspective on what it says, just ask.
Does blogger have a spell check that actually works? I live by spell checker.
Jason's dad (Papa Heddings) came up for Easter dinner on Sunday. It was wonderful to see him again. The weather was just perfect for an afternoon walk.
We got the cutest chocolate egg in the mail from Jason's mom. Thanks so much, Carol. I need to take a picture of it before I eat it. Notice that I said 'I' and not 'we'. It will be gone before Jason can get to it.
The trees are budding and the grass is turning green with some help from the sprinklers. I like seeing the earth turn green again. It is so refreshing. It also means that summer is near which is my favorite season.
Many thoughts go through my head wondering if I can teach at my school another year. Every day is a challenge. Situations I deal with are sad and stressful. I have to believe that I was place there for a reason. With that said, I will be looping my class next year which means that I will be keeping my same students that I have this year and will teach them again in 2nd grade. Somehow I have to learn how to reach the one student in the class who I can't seem to reach. Last week he called me a mean b**ch. It is hard to love a kid that is so angry and so lost. It breaks my heart to think that life is already this hard for him. He is only 7.
*Leaving work at work is impossible. I think about these kids all the time.
Our poor dogs, I wish they were inside.

Please let us in! We'll help sell the house, really! I'll eat up all the hair so long as you don't mind hair-balls once in a while.
Love Cody and Ollie
